Inauguration
It was inaugurated by the famous Actress & Model Malaika Arora Khan, Actor Arbaaz Khan & Model Amrita Arora while the Operation theatre was inaugurated by the renowned Ophthalmologist Dr Nisheeta Agarwala from Hinduja Group of Hospitals. Founded in the year 2003 in Bhiwandi by Dr Anushka, Anushka Super Speciality Eye Hospital is today state of the art Eye Hospital offering excellence in surgical results in many eye related diseases & continues to uphold the right approach to eye-care.
It is spread over approx 3500 square feet area, dedicated only to Eye Care with a fully functional Operation theatre, equipped with the most advanced technology.
Speciality Centres
There is a specialty centre for the special purpose of preserving sight in sight-threatening conditions such as Glaucoma, Uveitis, Diabetic retinopathy, Macular degeneration etc
The patient receives customized care provided by the specialists since these conditions require regular follow-up. These conditions can cause in some cases asymptomatic and sometimes irreversible loss of vision if poorly treated or neglected. The effect of treatment on the eye needs to be regularly measured by the specialist.

Independent assessment
The operation theatre environment is closely monitored at all times. The purification & fumigating system is regularly checked and independently audited every month by an independent laboratory to ensure the best OT sterility result.
All the surgeries are assisted by experienced Ophthalmic Assistants & nurses and monitored by a qualified Anaesthetist.
Monitoring
All surgeries performed are monitored by a qualified Anaesthetist only. Blood pressure and cardiac monitoring is done alongwith a multi para machine and a Pulse oximeter, thus ensuring full safety for the patient.
